This model, the TKT-Custom, was inspired by the slotted Kamaka tenor ukulele used by Jake Shimabukuro, and is a further evolution of the extremely popular TUT-914.It is a special tenor ukulele made with Truth's original TKT shape.
The wood is 3A grade Hawaiian Koa. The mother-of-pearl purfling is bordered with blue-dyed wood, creating a design inspired by Jake's Kamaka ukulele, known as the "Blue." The bridge, where the strings are wound, is inlaid with artificial marble, giving the instrument a luxurious feel. It also features Truth's original slotted Gotoh gear pegs, making tuning effortless. This is the top model of the Trtuh brand ukulele currently available in our store.
The sound is incredibly clear, well-defined, and rich in overtones. Harmonics are also very easy to produce.
Truth is a ukulele brand produced by Guitar Studio FourM, which has a workshop in Yatomi City, Aichi Prefecture, and is manufactured by two people, Norifumi Fukuhara and Tadashi Onodera.
