This model is an "Excellent Concert" size ukulele with a body made of 2A grade Hawaiian Koa.
The "Excellent Concert" is Truth's unique size, created to meet the needs of players who want more volume but find a tenor too large.
The rosette features a new design from 2023, with alternating 5mm wide abalone pearl and mother-of-pearl, bordered by blue stained wood, giving it a refreshing look.
The custom parts are the fingerboard and bridge saddle, which have been changed from the usual rosewood to ebony. This not only gives it a sleeker appearance, but also enhances the sound by making the sound's outline clearer and allowing harmonics and overtones to resonate more beautifully. Furthermore, the headplate is also ebony, and the normally decal logo has been upgraded to a mother-of-pearl inlay, giving it a luxurious appearance.
It has the bright sound characteristic of Hawaiian Koa, with good response and rich sustain. The volume is also outstanding.
※As this is an irregular size, a concert-sized gig bag will fit if it's wide enough, but for hard cases or slim gig bags, a tenor-sized one is recommended.
