For this standard model, the fingerboard and bridge have been changed to ebony. The black color gives it a sharper appearance, and since it's a dense wood, it also clarifies the sound's contours and enhances the overtones. Additionally, the headplate is also ebony, and the brand logo, usually a decal, is inlaid with abalone pearl.
Truth is a ukulele brand produced by Guitar Studio FourM, which has a workshop in Yatomi City, Aichi Prefecture, and is manufactured by two people, Norifumi Fukuhara and Tadashi Onodera. Its outstanding playability has attracted many players, and it is used by many musicians and recommended by many teachers, making it an unusually big hit brand for a small workshop.
