A tulip-cutaway concert ukulele featuring the original Ukulele Bird decorative style and rosewood binding!
The THC model is a classic Truth concert ukulele with a slightly thinner body depth that makes it easy to hold.
This model is a cutaway concert ukulele featuring a 2A-grade Hawaiian koa body.
It features a rosette in the original Ukulele Bird style, crafted from wood dyed in pink and purple. The rosewood-bound body offers a sense of refined elegance within its vibrant appearance.
The cutaway shape ensures comfortable playing in the high positions. While Truth has crafted numerous cutaway shapes to date, this model adopts what is known as the "tulip" shape, indicated by the "T" in the model number. Used on models for Kiyoshi Kobayashi and ukulele player Naoki Inoue, this shape is both stylish and unique.
Equipped with Truth's original Gotoh geared tuners, it provides smooth operation and stress-free tuning.
Despite the koa body, the sound is not harsh, but instead offers a charming, soft, and sustained tone.
Truth is a ukulele brand produced by Guitar Studio FourM, which has a workshop in Yatomi City, Aichi Prefecture, and is manufactured by two people, Norifumi Fukuhara and Tadashi Onodera. Its outstanding playability has attracted many players, and it is used by many musicians and recommended by many teachers, making it an unusually big hit brand for a small workshop. Ukulele Bard is one of the few retail shops that consistently carries Truth ukuleles.
