OulCraft is made by Kim Jong-tae, a talented new generation builder. This beautiful tenor guitar has a European Curry Maple body and a Blue Burst painted top.
This instrument is a tenor model with a beautiful, densely grained curly maple body. The top and head plate are finished with a gloss finish in the beautiful coloring that OulCraft is good at, and are finished with Blue Burst paint. The blue burst finish, which gives a sense of transparency and depth, is so beautiful that it draws you in.
The muzzle and iconic Blue Bird Style position markers are made of mother-of-pearl.
“Blue Bird” is OulCraft’s representative high-end model, a collaboration model with Korean jazz ukulele player Choi Min-seok.
The 16.5-inch scale is slightly shorter than conventional tenor ukuleles, and the body is slightly smaller, making it a tenor ukulele that fits the Asian physique. The weight is also exceptionally light for a tenor ukulele, so anyone can hold it comfortably.
The sound balance is designed primarily with jazz performance in mind, and the use of nylon strings instead of fluorocarbon is a testament to Kim's commitment to producing delicate sounds.
