Seilen SLTS-1151x14 – Custom-made wide-body tenor ukulele! This model features a hybrid construction with different wood on the sides!
This is a specially made ukulele, selected by visiting the Seilen String Instrument Workshop in Tateshina and personally inspecting the stock of wood carefully stored at the workshop, and selecting several pieces of wood recommended by luthier Shinji Takahashi. Not only the wood, but also the rosette design, headstock specifications, tuning pegs, and other detailed specifications were all decided in consultation with the luthier, making this a custom-made model for our store.
Top and back material: A rare ebony material with black and white ebony spalting, featuring a beautiful pattern reminiscent of black persimmon.
Side Material: Ziricote . This extremely hard material, with its beautiful striped pattern, firmly secures the body sides.
It features a slotted headstock, antler head inlays, and custom-made Gotoh pegs with black mother-of-pearl knobs, creating a sense of luxury and precision.
