Pono's solid acacia body tenor boasts a simple, elegant look and a warm tone.
PONO is manufactured in Indonesia under strict control, inheriting the technology of ko'olau, the top Hawaiian ukulele brand.
Although it is positioned as a second brand, there is no compromise in anything from wood management to production know-how, and it boasts stable quality that is not inferior to the production line in Hawaii.
This tenor ukulele features a solid acacia body and a satin finish that brings out the grain while maintaining a subdued appearance. The rosette is bound with old-style rope, creating a simple yet beautiful design.
The back of the neck has a smooth satin finish, allowing for smooth position changes. The neck shape is rounded for a comfortable grip. The side-type gear pegs allow for smooth tuning.
The sound is bright and voluminous, and you can fully experience the clear tone that is unique to acacia.
Although it is made entirely of solid wood, it offers excellent cost performance and is recommended for beginners and those looking for their second or subsequent ukulele.

Pono
PONO is a second brand launched by Hawaii's top brand, Koʻolau, in 2005. While basic manufacturing is done at a partner factory in Indonesia, the finished product is thoroughly managed and checked by Koʻolau's skilled craftsmen, ensuring the same high quality as Hawaii-made products and excellent cost performance.
