A custom-made concert model from OwlCraft, with a Hawaiian Koa body.

This instrument is a concert model ordered by our store, and is a traditional concert ukulele with a Hawaiian Koa body.

The head shape is a style similar to a Martin called a crown head. Mother of pearl is used for the muzzle and position marks.

The bracing is made of extremely lightweight balsa wood, with carbon filled in between to make it lighter while maintaining its strength, and the continued vibration of the top board provides incredible sustain.

We were wondering how much of the OulCraft sound could be achieved using Hawaiian Koa, but it far exceeded our expectations. The dynamics of the sound that responds to the strength of the touch are unparalleled.

See the video for the sound.
