This Englemann spruce x European maple concert ukulele is inspired by the gemstone amethyst. The position marks are set with natural amethyst.
This instrument is a concert ukulele from the "Jewelry Series" produced as a 5th anniversary model for Ukulele Bard. The top is finished in a beautiful purple sunburst gloss, reminiscent of amethyst, and the position markers are set with genuine amethyst stones.
The top is made of Engelmann spruce, and the sides and back are made of beautiful, dense European curry maple. The maple sides are made of two pieces glued together, which strengthens the sides and enhances the vibration of the top.
The head has a sleek shape that tapers towards the tip, called a snakehead, and is finished in the same purple gloss as the body.
The bracing has been improved from the previous model and is now made of paulownia wood. This ukulele will captivate players with its rich sustain and beautiful, clear tone.
