This tenor size show model from OwlCraft features a curly maple body and a honey burst finish.
This instrument is a show model exhibited at the "Shiwasu Ukulele Exhibition" held in December 2023. The body is made of beautiful, dense curly maple and finished in a beautiful honey burst color. The neck is also made of beautiful curly maple with a beautiful grain, and the pickguard is also made of curly maple, giving it a gorgeous look. The frets are EBO GOLD, and the gold UPT of the pegs creates a gorgeous atmosphere.
This is a tenor-sized model with a shape that OulCraft calls Type-B. The bottom of the body is rounded, which is a distinctive feature. The placement of the fan bracing is also carefully calculated, and it is a masterpiece by luthier Kim, with excellent volume and balance.
OulCraft ukuleles are often finished with nylon strings, but since this instrument is a show model, we have deliberately strung it with Worth CT fluorocarbon strings to produce a more vibrant sound.
The tone is surprisingly clear, the high notes are well extended, and the balance of each string is good. Please refer to the sound check video by the maker himself.
