This concert ukulele is a 5th anniversary model from Ukulele Bard, with a top made of triffid spruce and back and sides made of quilted maple.

MOODYVILLE UKULELE is made by Vancouver, Canada luthier Shelley D. Park.

This instrument is a concert ukulele specially ordered as a 5th anniversary model for Ukulele Bard.

The back and sides are made of beautifully grained quilted maple, and the top is made of torified spruce. The curly maple neck is also torified. Torification is a special heat treatment that gives the instrument a depth of appearance and sound quality reminiscent of vintage instruments, while at the same time giving it the same stable wood quality as wood that has been aged for a long time.

The binding is made from curly koa and has a carefully rounded edge for a finishing touch.

The Osmo finish gives it a smooth and comfortable feel. It also has excellent acoustic properties as it does not impede the wood's breathing.

Although the design is minimalist, typical of Shelley D. Park, the attention to detail, such as the finish on the fingerboard end, is impressive.

It has a brilliant tone and extremely loud volume, making it an instrument that can handle both delicate and powerful playing.
