The MOODYVILLE UKULELE, made by Vancouver, Canada luthier Shelley D. Park, is a tenor ukulele with a mellow sound and a sapele mahogany body.

Since our founding, we have been in charge of importing Moodyville ukuleles for the Japanese market. Since each ukulele is carefully crafted by a single maker, we only produce a small number of ukuleles, about 10 a year.

The bridge shape of this tenor ukulele has been upgraded, with the strings now passing through the underside of the top, making it stronger and more durable than ever before.

The body is made of beautiful, dense, straight-grained Sapele mahogany, aiming for the traditional mahogany sound that has been passed down since Martin.

The binding is made of curly core with three layers of ebony and maple on both sides, with the edges rounded off and carefully finished, making it a luxurious piece. The paint has a shiny gloss finish that gives it a luxurious feel.

The standard neck for the MOODYVILLE UKULELE is alder, but in order to express the overall softness and sweetness of the sound, we ordered this model with a mahogany neck.

This is a beautiful ukulele with a minimalist yet sophisticated design that is typical of Shelley D. Park.

Please refer to the video to hear the sweet and lustrous sound.
