This is a premium model based on Mon Ami's popular MA-CK model, featuring 4A grade Hawaiian koa wood directly selected at the factory for the body, finished with special specifications!
This is a premium concert ukulele model featuring a body made of 4A grade curly Hawaiian koa solid wood, selected by Ukulele Bird Koyama at the Ayers factory.
It features a flying bird inlay made of mother-of-pearl above the 5th fret of the fingerboard, abalone purfling on the body top, and a glossy finish on the body for a more opulent and luxurious appearance.
For playability, only the back of the neck has a smooth satin finish.
The rosette features a luxurious use of abalone and pink abalone, with a vine motif, which is the brand's symbol. Each piece is carefully crafted by skilled artisans.
The tuners are Gotoh side-gear tuners specially made for Mon Ami. They offer lightweight and smooth operation, and are designed with consideration for headstock weight balance.
The sound is clear and well-defined, with solid mid-low frequencies and rich sustain in the high notes.

Mon Ami
"Mon ami" means "my friend" in French, and this brand was produced by Ukulele Bird with the concept of a ukulele that stays close to the player. Manufacturing is handled by Ayers Music, which is well-known for producing high-quality instruments. They carefully select solid woods such as mahogany, Hawaiian koa, and white mango, crafting instruments that prioritize natural resonance.
The label and inlay designs were created by illustrator Akira Kobayashi (Francegum), expressing the brand's warm and friendly worldview.
