Leaf Instruments "Teriha" soprano, a show model with a body made of Hawaiian Koa wood!

Leaf Instruments is the workshop of Gifu Prefecture luthier Yukihiko Nagasaka.
While working as a craftsman at Suzuki Violin, the oldest and most established violin maker in Japan, he began making stringed instruments such as guitars and ukuleles, and founded his own studio, Leaf Instruments, in 2010. He applies the techniques he has developed in violin making to the production of acoustic guitars and ukuleles, producing extremely high-quality instruments with precise and beautiful designs.

The standard model of ukulele is called "Teriha" and is produced with meticulous calculations to maximize the resonance of the body, with vibrations that resonate throughout the entire instrument, including the neck, being transmitted to the player's body.

This instrument is a show model exhibited at the "December Ukulele Exhibition," and the body is made of beautifully grained Hawaiian Koa. The light and bright tone unique to Koa matches well with the soprano scale to produce a pleasant sound.

The head plate and rosette are made of burl wood dyed reddish-brown, and the pegs feature gold parts that match the overall warm atmosphere.

Please refer to the YouTube video for the sound.
