A deluxe model of luthier-made soprano ukulele that beautifully combines classic design with modern playability!
The Ki-Bo Ukulele is carefully crafted by maker Kiyoshi Tsuchiya in his workshop in Kitasaku District, Nagano Prefecture. The annual production volume is small, with each ukulele carefully crafted over time. The current lineup consists of only the soprano-sized standard model and the soprano deluxe model (this model).
This instrument is crafted from 4A grade Hawaiian Koa and is currently the top-of-the-line model. The rope binding and rosette on the body give it a vintage feel.
However, contrary to its appearance, the intonation and playability are as precise as you would expect from a modern luthier. It's perfect for old-time Hawaiian, jazz, and singing, and of course it's also great for solo ukulele.
This gorgeous deluxe model features a rope-patterned center line on the fingerboard and headplate. The deep, curly Hawaiian Koa wood is incredibly beautiful.
