This is a tenor-sized model with a core body. The fingerboard and bridge, nut and saddle are also core, so everything except the neck is made of core material.
In recent years, Japanese imports have been equipped with Gotoh UPT pegs, which provide stable tuning and ease of use. The neck is also thinner than before, making it easier to hold.
Although it has a slight sheen, the paint is close to a satin finish, making it soft to the touch and a simple, warm-feeling ukulele. This is an affordable Hawaii-made ukulele and offers excellent value for money.
*The models we have in stock at our store have had the nut corner rounded off after arriving in Japan, the saddle has been lowered, and the string height has been reduced to about 2mm, resulting in a setting that prioritizes much easier playability than models that are generally available.
