This is an exquisite example selected from several tenor models in the KPA series, featuring a striking soundhole rosette made from paua shell!

Kanile'a was founded in Oahu, Hawaii in 1998. With its innovative construction and crystal clear sound, Kanile'a is a leading brand of Hawaiian-made ukuleles.

Launched in 2020, KPA is a deluxe series that uses premium grade curly koa for the body and boldly features a Maori (New Zealand) paua shell on the sound hole rosette.

It represents a Polynesian fusion by combining Hawaiian curly koa and Maori (New Zealand) paua shells.

Although this instrument is rated Premium Grade according to its model number, the beautifully curly, high-quality Hawaiian Koa used for the body would make it worthy of being ranked even higher, Master Grade.

Please check out the sound video to experience the light, clear and attractive tone.
