This is a concert guitar from the HNS series that combines an abalone inlay featuring the Hawaiian sea turtle (honu) with tortoiseshell binding!
Although Kanile'a is a relatively new brand, founded in 1998 on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, it is now often cited as one of the top Hawaiian brands, thanks to its innovative structure and distinctive, crystal-clear sound.
Normally, we go to our agent, Hosco, to select the wood, but this time we carefully examined the wood grain from photos in advance.
This concert ukulele features an abalone inlay featuring the Hawaiian sea turtle (honu) and tortoiseshell binding.
The koa material used is of the deluxe grade, selected according to strict standards. Abalone inlays are used not only on the body but also on the position markers. It comes with a deluxe gloss finish.
The latest shipment is shipped with Worth CM strings. Fluorocarbon adds a rich, clear sound character to the strings, creating a more appealing tone. Please see the video for a sound example.
