This instrument is a pre-owned item from 2013, but it is a one-of-a-kind custom model made for display in the showroom attached to the factory in Kaneohe on the east coast of Oahu, Hawaii. It is a concert size made with premium-grade Hawaiian koa, featuring a state-of-the-art scoop cutaway and beveled armrest for its time. The previous owner reportedly purchased it directly from the local showroom.
The neck is made of solid mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are rosewood.
Gold GOTOH geared tuners (16:1) and Kanileʻa's proprietary "TRU-R Bracing System" are the same as on standard models.
In addition to Kanileʻa's characteristic clear and three-dimensional sound, this concert ukulele boasts excellent volume and balance.
There is one inconspicuous ding on the headstock, but overall it is in beautiful condition, making it an excellent value pre-owned item.
