A beautiful pre-owned I'iwi Tenor Premium Series 3 Puka made in the mid-2010s!
This is an I'iwi brand tenor ukulele made by Oahu master craftsman Charlie Fukuba, who retired in 2021.
This is a triple soundhole tenor ukulele made in the mid-2010s with a Hawaiian Koa and Bubinga back. It is part of the Premium Series, which uses the highest quality materials and features elaborate inlays.
The triple soundhole, the ukulele's most distinctive feature, surprised people when it was first released, but has now become a design that represents the I'iwi brand.
It features a large volume thanks to its bell-shaped body, rich and solid low and high frequencies, and a warm and well-balanced sound thanks to its three-piece back.
The three pieces in the back are made in various combinations depending on the individual instrument, but this instrument has a bubinga in the center sandwiched between curly koa.
It is in such good condition that it is hard to believe it is a nearly 10-year-old ukulele. The strings are set to Low-G and a strap pin is attached.
