An authentic high-end tenor ukulele with an African mahogany body!
Hozen, the founder of Singapore's handmade guitar brand Maestro Guitars, has launched his own premium brand, "Hozen." The Green Label, a high-end line of ukuleles, is handmade in very limited quantities.
Green Label ukuleles are made from carefully selected tonewoods and individually voiced by Ho Zen. They incorporate the specs of high-end models, such as beveled cutaways, side sound ports, and beveled armrests. The cutaways in particular are shaped under the supervision of legendary Japanese luthier Mitsuhiro Uchida, and are named "Uchida" Cutaways.
This instrument is a tenor ukulele with an African mahogany body.
The original style fan bracing is made from Sitka spruce, and Japanese glue is used for adhesion, so the internal structure is also designed with a focus on sound making.
The neck is reinforced with carbon and the string height is set low, allowing for a technical playing style to fully utilize its power.
