A professional high-end tenor ukulele featuring an aged red cedar top and Mexican cocobolo back and sides!
"Hozen" is a premium brand launched by Hozen, the founder of Maestro Guitars, a handcrafted guitar brand from Singapore, and named after himself. The Green Label, Hozen's high-end ukulele line, produces a very limited number of handmade instruments.
Green Label ukuleles are crafted from carefully selected tonewoods and individually voiced by Ho Zen himself. They incorporate high-end specifications such as a beveled cutaway, side soundport, and beveled armrest. In particular, the cutaway shape is supervised by Mitsuhiro Uchida, a legendary luthier proudly from Japan, and is named the "Uchida Cutaway."
This instrument is a tenor ukulele with an aged red cedar top and Mexican cocobolo back and sides.
The internal structure is also meticulously crafted for sound making, utilizing quarter-sawn Sitka spruce for the original style fan bracing and Japanese nikawa (hide glue) for adhesion.
The neck is reinforced with carbon fiber, and the string action is set low, allowing it to fully showcase its capabilities for technical playing styles.
