A representative model of the brand, with an inlay inspired by the Hawaiian sunshine.
G String T4 Sun Tenor Ukulele

G String Ukulele was founded by Derek Shimizu on the island of Oahu, Hawaii in 1993. Popular for its reliable craftsmanship and beautiful tone, it is known as a leading brand of Hawaiian handcrafted ukuleles.

The workshop has now been moved to the outskirts of Las Vegas, USA, where Shimizu produces the ukuleles himself, and production is extremely limited. As a result, new G String ukuleles are extremely rare.

This "T4 Sun" is the brand's premium tenor-sized model, featuring a beautifully grained all-Hawaiian Koa body and an impressive sun inlay on the headstock. The sound is bright and crisp, yet rich and full of body. Its quality makes it suitable for a wide range of playing styles, from solos to accompaniment.

This is an exceptional piece that can be recommended to both performers and collectors, thanks to the meticulous woodworking techniques and sound creation that are unique to G Strings, as well as the fact that it is a rare instrument that was "handcrafted by Mr. Shimizu himself."
