A Ukulele Bird custom model based on G-Labo's popular mid-size model No.365, featuring a purpleheart body and neck!
The No.365 is an original design model that adopts a 365mm scale, which is intermediate between a soprano and a concert ukulele. It was developed with the aim of achieving both the ease of a soprano and the rich resonance of a concert. Its exquisite size and rounded, chamfered shape make it exceptionally comfortable to hold. Coupled with the smooth-to-the-touch satin finish, it's an instrument you'll want to keep in your hands forever. It offers an excellent balance of playability and comfort.
This instrument is a Ukulele Bird custom specification that was ordered after being introduced as a highly recommended model by factory manager Moja during a visit to the G-Labo factory in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in January 2026. Only two units were produced using purpleheart wood that Moja had secretly stored, which we selected on-site. Purpleheart wood isnaturally vibrant purple without any dyes or artificial coloring.
To capitalize on purpleheart's clear tone, strong attack, and rich sustain, we used high-quality, close-grained spruce for the top. The abalone pearl rosette gives it a luxurious look. The gold Gotoh UPTL pegs were arranged by us.
For the Ukulele Bird specifications, the position markers were changed to a highly visible 5mm size, and the Ukulele Bird's bird emblem was placed on the headstock.
We paid special attention to the neck shape, making it thinner up to around the 12th fret to enhance playability in the higher frets.
A dedicated hardshell case with the Ukulele Bird emblem is included.
