This instrument is a soprano model that boldly adopts the rare Ditson shape, based on the Style-3M that supported the golden age of ukuleles. The Ditson shape is a form that Martin manufactured for Ditson in the 1920s, which is slightly narrower horizontally and longer vertically than usual.
From the carefully selected solid mahogany body, in addition to the light and airy sound characteristic of a soprano, the rich, deep, and sweet tone unique to the Ditson shape resonates.
The traditional 3M decorations, such as the line in the center of the fingerboard and the ornament at the bottom, are also meticulously reproduced by Mr. Isoda, perfectly blending vintage elegance with modern playability.
It is also known for being used by ukulele player Kenta Ebara.
