A new tenor ukulele from popular brand Craft Musica, with a rare wood Alerce top.
Craft Musica is a brand created by Yasuo Takayama, who has a workshop in Yoshikawa City, Saitama Prefecture, and is supported by many enthusiasts for its high level of woodworking skills and unique design sense.
This instrument is a tenor with an original Craft Musica shape, and its main feature is that it uses Alerce wood for the top. Alerce is a cedar from Chile, and like Brazilian rosewood, it is a rare material listed in Appendix 1 of the Washington Convention. It has a very beautiful, dense grain and produces a delicate and sustained tone.
The sides and backs are made of Indian rosewood, giving it a rich reverb and a sweet, beautiful sound. Check it out in the video.
The Allerce Top Concert was also introduced in the ukulele review of Ukulele Magazine 30, and it is characterized by a sweet and delicate tone, making it a very expressive instrument.
The curly maple body binding also gives it a luxurious, attractive look.

Craft Musica
Craft Musica is a ukulele brand produced by maker Yasuo Takayama in Yoshikawa City, Saitama Prefecture.
After working for a semiconductor manufacturer, Takayama studied woodworking at Shinagawa Vocational Training School and then engaged in the production of custom-made furniture for eight years. He studied instrument making under Masami Endo of Songbird Guitar Workshop and launched his own brand in 2005.
He have captivated many customers by creating one-of-a-kind instruments that utilize their high level of woodworking skills and aesthetic sense.
