A concert ukulele made by Arimitsu Guitar Craft, with a top made of red cedar of the same quality used in high-end guitars.

After working for a long-established guitar manufacturer, Shinichi Arimitsu started his career as a solo maker in 2002 and currently makes instruments in his workshop in Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture. He makes very few instruments a year and his instruments are rare.

This is a concert-sized ukulele that Arimitsu specializes in, and the top is made of well-aged, dense red cedar of the same grade used in high-end guitars. The harmony with the Honduran mahogany back and sides creates a delicate and sustained sound.

The rosewood pickguard, which is integrated with the top plate, has a beautiful design. The shape of the bridge, inspired by ancient Renaissance instruments, is intricate and shows the high level of craftsmanship.

It is light in weight and very easy to hold. The neck heel is asymmetrical like the guitars made by Arimitsu, and you will feel the good playability. The case is the hard case shown.
