From aNueNue's new "Feather Series," the "UT188 MB (Moana Blue)" has been released, featuring a beautiful deep blue like the ocean.
This is a model I've been eagerly awaiting since I saw the prototype when I visited the aNueNue factory last November.
It features a cedar soundboard combined with quilted sapele as a veneer (double top), and all-solid construction with 5A-grade Taiwanese acacia on the sides and back.
It achieves a warm yet firm, clear, and deep tone, with the quick response and expressiveness characteristic of cedar.
The internal structure adopts a "Dual-Plate × Cross-Grain" structure with intersecting wood grain directions and a lattice bracing system derived from classical guitars.
By enhancing vibration efficiency, it achieves high levels of attack, sustain, and volume.
Additionally, it features a wedge joint structure that improves playability in higher positions, making it easy to play in a natural form even with the tenor size.
In terms of looks, it is an artistic piece with craftsman's dedication down to the smallest details, such as the pink abalone rosette, feather inlays, and flame maple binding that beautifully tightens the body. It is also strung with the original Blue Moon strings, enhancing the overall blue concept.
