This is a model I've been eagerly awaiting since I saw the prototype during my visit to the aNueNue factory last November.
It's an all-solid construction featuring a cedar soundboard paired with quilted sapele as a veneer (double-top), and 5A grade Taiwanese acacia solid wood for the back and sides.
It achieves a clear and deep tone with warmth and substance, while maintaining the quick response and expressiveness characteristic of cedar.
The internal structure adopts a "Dual-Plate × Cross-Grain" structure with opposing wood grain directions, and a lattice bracing system derived from classical guitars.
By enhancing vibration efficiency, it achieves high levels of quick attack, sustain, and volume.
Additionally, it features a wedge-joint structure that enhances playability in the high positions, making it easy to play in a natural posture even with a tenor size.
In terms of aesthetics, it's an artistic piece meticulously crafted with attention to detail by artisans, including a pink abalone rosette, feather inlays, and flame maple binding that beautifully frames the body. It's strung with original Blue Moon strings, enhancing the overall blue concept.
