This is a soprano-sized limited edition model commemorating our 5th anniversary, featuring 4A grade Hawaiian koa for the body and adorable hummingbird and head flower inlays!
This is a high-grade soprano ukulele from aNueNue, a Taiwanese ukulele manufacturer known for its high quality and excellent design.
The Hummingbird series, which uses Hawaiian koa, is a rare specification that can only be achieved through custom orders. The 5th-anniversary model features further design arrangements, such as the addition of a flower inlay on the head, making it a more ornate release. Only two units of each size were produced, and this soprano model is the last one of them.
As with the standard Hummingbird model, the head features a single flying hummingbird, and the rosette features two hummingbirds hovering among flowers in search of nectar, all inlaid with abalone, mother-of-pearl, and various colored turquoise stones. However, we paid special attention to the details, using blue for the hummingbird's wings and tail feathers, and changing some of the rosette flowers from red to pearl.
The backstrip inside the body is made of rosewood, with "UKULELE BIRD 5th" inlaid in pearl.
The wood grain of the 4A grade Hawaiian koa used for the body is also superb.
It is a high-end ukulele with a bright and extended sound, and surprisingly accurate pitch for a soprano model.
