[Restocked] Soprano model with a torrefied moon spruce top for a matured look and tone.
This is a soprano ukulele made by aNueNue, a Taiwanese ukulele manufacturer highly regarded for its high-quality instrument making and design.
The Moon Bird series features a unique bird shape and moon motif design. Among them, the 200 series, which uses moon spruce for the top, is highly popular for its clear sound and rich sustain.
This model is based on the 200 series, with a solid torrefied moon spruce top that has undergone high-temperature heat treatment. It offers a deeper, calmer sound, reminiscent of a vintage instrument, which is a distinctive characteristic compared to regular moon spruce. Due to the scarcity of torrefied moon spruce, production numbers are limited.
The rosetta, binding, position marks, and body end are decorated in a blue motif, giving the entire model a cohesive color scheme. The attention to detail is evident, for example, in the polished ebony fingerboard that makes the blue position marks stand out beautifully.
The strings are Blue Water Strings, developed based on Clear Water Strings. They feature a blue coloring and unique tension, with the entire package, including the included blue hard case, being coordinated.
The sound is sweet and deep, with rich sustain and ample volume. Despite its compact soprano size, this model offers a profound and enjoyable resonance.
