The bracing pattern, designed by Hiroshima-based luthier Morihiko Mitsuda—who is also known for being highly acclaimed and used by ukulele player KYAS—fuses with aNueNue's unique body shape to create a beautifully clear tone. The cutaway body provides excellent playability for the high frets.
The headstock features an inlaid hummingbird in flight, while the rosette is decorated with two hummingbirds hovering in search of flower nectar, all crafted with abalone, mother-of-pearl, and colorful stones such as turquoise, making for a truly gorgeous inlay.
