The Whale series was born from a collaboration with ukulele player KYAS. The long-awaited black concert guitar is now available in our store for the first time!

This is the black version of the limited edition model created in collaboration with Anuenue, a Taiwanese ukulele manufacturer known for its high quality and design, and ukulele player KYAS. Until now, only the tenor size was available, but in 2025, the concert size will finally be released.

In addition to the total design, which includes whale inlays, which symbolize Kochi Prefecture, where KYAS is based, and a rosette made of turquoise with a Pacific Ocean motif, the Black Whale uses a solid cedar top with a blackened curly maple veneer, and rosewood for the back and sides, making it a ukulele that expresses new individuality in both tone and sound.

Like other Anuenue high-end models, the sound is created by the bracing structure that we are absolutely confident in, and when combined with the unique body shape, it produces a beautiful, crystal clear tone.

Please see the video for sound.
