The Air Air Active Dual System Pickup, developed by aNueNue, blends an under-saddle piezo pickup with a condenser microphone that captures the air inside the body.

The sound is highly praised by ukulele player KYAS, and the HD high-fidelity design, high-definition integrated circuit design preamp, and distortion reduction allow for the reproduction of the original instrument sound and dynamics. The simple design allows for volume and microphone adjustments.

Its major feature is that it is clean and has less risk of feedback than conventional blend systems.

The aNueNue Under-Saddle (AU) Acoustic Pickup is designed to pick up the top motion of the soundboard. Utilizing a sensor film just 0.6mm thick, the AU pickup is able to pick up the most delicate vibrations and transform them into beautiful sound.
It features soundhole mounted controls for Vol & Mic.

The control unit features a high-performance Omni-Directional Air Microphone mounted on a PCB board. This is the "purest" microphone in terms of low coloration, with minimal impact on the original tone. Because it's piezoelectric, it delivers exceptional sound. With a flat low-frequency response below 20Hz, the air microphone captures air reflections, adding a rich, harmonic tone. The microphone also captures the percussion sounds of the instrument itself.
