LUNA Bird, a custom-made ukulele bar model, is born.

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Ukulele Bird, LUNA x Ukulele Bird has created an original model soprano ukulele and concert ukulele !

This original model was made with special specifications for the LUNA (now branded as KIWAYA) ukulele, based on the LUNA ukulele (now branded as KIWAYA), which has a slim and lightweight body structure that provides excellent operability and a comfortable playing feel, and pursues a luxurious vintage look and a deep, sweet sound.

The inlay was done by Hotaka Kato of Hotaka Custom Inlay.
The shell used is the highest quality vintage abalone shell, which has been carefully preserved for many years. Its pink, purple, and blue hues shine like a gradation, exuding the profound beauty that only natural materials can offer.
The letters "LB" engraved on the balloon gondola are hand-carved to represent the "L" for Luna and the "B" for Ukulele Bird.
This inlay is made from precious abalone shells, which are now rarely harvested due to environmental changes, and carefully captures the beauty of their life.
Rosewood is used for the head veneer to make the inlay stand out.
The Gotoh side gear pegs are finished with luxurious gold parts.
The paint is finished in a sophisticated gloss finish, which not only gives it a gorgeous appearance but also produces crisp, clear sound.
